15 min Discovery call
My name is Dr Shania Seeber and I am Naturopathic physician who has 20 years experience in clinical integrative medicine who can inter refer to relevant MD’s/GP’s if your case needs it.
In this 15 minute discovery call, we will determine whether the approach I use is one you are comfortable with. It is not a consultation to discuss treatments, those are done in the consultations. The fee for the discovery call will be taken off your inial consultation fee should you choose to have one.
I practice a Functional Medicine approach with my patients. Functional Medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual’s illness. I use functional testing in my practice such as dried urine, hair analysis, DNA testing and more. These are discussed in the initial consultation.
As a Naturopath I use Herbal & Nutritional modalities alongside lifestyle interventions that you would need to implement in order to facilitate long term health gains. Your recovery will be a journey along which I will walk by your side, guiding you and motivating you.
I do work with medical professionals and will refer to one of my team if we determine that you need additional medical interventions. I do not prescribe pharmaceutical medicine myself, but I can discuss and recommend treatments with the Dr’s on my team. The fees to them will be private and are not included in any plan we discuss.
